We are after the REAL PRESENCE. There is nothing we need more and nothing that satisfies like He does. He is not a genie to be called upon when I need Him to do something for me. He is a lover that needs nothing from me but loves it when I come honestly and genuinely before Him to offer my love, thanksgiving, and adoration to Him. There’s a Rescue and I delight/Be still my soul – These are two great soaking songs. “There’s a Rescue” is one that I’ve started many mornings with – simply reminding myself that Jesus is coming for me, indeed He already has! “I Delight” is much the same way.
