Belief Project Playlist for May 2012

Here’s how I’ve used this playlist in my personal worship times lately:

There’s a Rescue and I delight/Be still my soul – These are two great soaking songs. “There’s a Rescue” is one that I’ve started many mornings with – simply reminding myself that Jesus is coming for me, indeed He already has! “I Delight” is much the same way. Singing, “I delight to sit in Your shade and call on Your name” has been a perfect way to start my days – particularly when I feel anxious and hurried when I wake up

Songs from Elevation Worship’s album “For the Honor”

These are great arena-anthem style worship songs. Each contains beautiful declarations of who God is and what He has done for us. I feel like I am joining the heavenly multitudes when I sing along with these songs.

Let it shine and Your Love is All Around – All Sons and Daughters

This worship feels homemade and born from a deep heart connection to Jesus. I use both of these songs as declarations over my day – even before it begins!
