Belief Project Playlist for June/July 2012
Summer has been fun and totally crazy! It has felt at times as if I have no rhythm or routine in the midst of tons of different ministry trips and personal trips. Being in a different place and setting so much has forced me to get creative with my worship. This list is a little longer than normal and that’s because I have been pulling in different songs at different times all summer. Here’s how I’ve used this playlist in my personal worship times recently:
I Breathe You in, God
No matter where I’ve been this summer this song has been my refrain to start the day. There’s nothing I need more, no matter the circumstances or demands of the day, than to begin the day by breathing in the actual presence of God, declaring His goodness, and declaring my intention to choose Him no matter what comes that day.

This whole album has rocked me. The dude can just flat out bring it! Just his voice and a guitar – yet it feels like the whole earth is singing! My favorite 3 song set is Spirit of the Living God – Spring Up – I Surrender All. The whole album takes me there, just get the whole thing!

I think these two write some of the most original and genuine worship out there. My favorite three song set from this album is Empty My Soul – Explode My Soul – Redemption Rain. But, again, I really have enjoyed and been rocked by the whole album.
All the Poor and Powerless
I love this song – and the whole album in fact – but this song is on this playlist for the bridge at the end of the song. It has been stuck in my head for the better part of the summer and I can’t seem to sing it enough – “Shout it, go on and scream it from the mountains, go on and tell it to the masses, that He is God! And we will sing out hallelujah, and we will cry out hallelujah, we will sing out hallelujah, God!”
